The Dead Science - split w/ Xiu Xiu
7in - $4.75

 Temporarily Unavailable
Xiu Xiu is fronted by Eugene Robinson of Oxbow while the Dead Science get an assist by the late great Shooby Taylor the Human Horn. On Deathbomb Arc.
Frog Eyes - Emboldened Navigator
7in - $4.00

 Temporarily Unavailable
From the Soft Abuse site: "Sounding like a frantic mix of Tom Waits, The Rock*A*Teens, The Birthday Party and perhaps The Fall, Frog Eyes are one of the most interesting bands around (both live and recorded). The songs on "Emboldened Navigator" are the amongst the band's earliest and most raw, and were recorded live to tape without overdubs. The group formed from the ashes of Blue Pine, who were promising but ill-fated, and have released two essential albums thus far - 2002's amazing and critically acclaimed The Bloody Hand, and this year's brilliant The Golden River." On Soft Abuse and very limited at that.
Frog Eyes - Frog Eyes/ Hello Blue Roses Split
7in - $5.50

Frog Eyes teams up with Vancouver's Hello Blue Roses for a limited edition 7"-- only 500 copies printed. Frog Eyes present two newly re-imagined versions of "Policy Merchant"and "Stockades" from their stellar 2007 release Tears of the Valedictorian, this time including fellow Victorian Ryan Beattie (of Chet and Himalayan Bear) into their roster. Hello Blue Roses is the collaborative effort of Dan Bejar (more famously of Destroyer and New Pornographers) and singer Sydney Vermont. The two tracks on the single are a cover of "Foam Hands," a song from Destroyer's Trouble In Dreams album (with Sydney singing rather than Dan) and a cover of Richard and Linda Thompson's "Wall of Death." ON SALE NOW THROUGH THE END OF MAY 2010!
Heavy Vegetable - Headrush picture disc
7in - $5.00

 Temporarily Unavailable
"Head Rush" and "Couch" (both off of The Amazing Undersea Adventures of Aqua Kitty) on the A-side and acoustic versions from a live session on KCRW of "Crash" and "Excess" (a Klark Kent cover) on the B-side. On Headhuinter/Cargo.
The Jim Yoshii Pile-Up - split w/ Meanest Man Contest
7in - $4.50

 Temporarily Unavailable
It's a poorly kept secret that the Jim Yoshii Pile-Up's Noah Blumberg also crafts the beats for abstract hip-hop outfit Meanest Man Contest (who recorded a fabulous record for Plug Research). Here, the boys share a slab of lovely chocolate brown wax. The JYPU's delivers "Deservedly So" while MMC throws two, "I was Only Kidding" and "Everything Worth Mentioning." All orders come with a free Meanest Man Contest 7" while supplies last. On Weapon-Shaped.
Jukeboxer - Parenthetical
7in - $3.00

Jukeboxer is Brooklyn's Noah Wall and friends. We've been raving about these folks for over a year now, since we first heard their hidden gem of a debut, Jukeboxer Learns The Alphabet, and we are now finally going to release something by them. Organic electronic music of the greatest sort, dwelling between Terry Riley and casio-core, the Magnetic Fields and Morr Music, Tall Dwarfs and (dare I say) Stereolab. This three song 7" EP clocks in at twelve and a half minutes and serves as a welcome teaser to Jukeboxer In The Foodchain, the band's next album, to be released by Absolutely Kosher in 2004. This is also the first 7" we've ever done. Limited to 400 copies worldwide. (AK032)
60 Watt Kid - split 7" w/ Foot Village
7in - $5.99

It's a Los Angeles underground rumble between tweaked psych poppers 60 Watt Kid and thundering skronkers Foot Village. 60WK offers "2012" while FV gives us "Kim ILL."
The Hidden Cameras - Learning the Lie: 4-track demos
7in - $10.00

Limited double 7".
Xiu Xiu - split w/Devendra Banhart
